Kapital FW19

Kapital has arrived, delivering their signature blend of workwear, and traditional Japanese garments, with subtle quirky twists that we’ve come to expect from the label.

This season Kapital give us their offering of Keel Vests with both Sandy Florals, and Woven Indigo Boro Patchwork options keeping you snug and warm. Both fully pieces come fully reversible giving you double your options.

The traditional Sashiko stitch takes pride of place amidst this season’s Fleecy Knit Tee, and Linen Work Shirt. With off-white stitching accenting against the rich natural indigo finishes. Continuing with traditional techniques, Big Pocket Sweat Shirt utilises Shibori dying methods for spherical white accents that run the length of the sleeves.

Kapital truely have perfected patchwork with this season’s Tugihagi Hand Knit Cardigan. Each panel is meticulously hand woven together blending cotton and hemp fibres with torn cloth, and silk threads in a knit boro style.

This season’s offerings for you lower half come in the form of High Waisted Chinos, in both Black and Khaki as well as Waffle Quilted Cargo Pants for a little bit of coziness. Not forgetting all of this season’s accessories, Kapital give us a series of scarves and neck warmers all blending patchwork, and indigo to pair off with all of this season’s garments.

Not forgetting your feet, Kapital have a little smiley face, and some cowichan patterned socks. Last and certainly not least, Kapital’s Milk Bag returns with a Khaki Canvas body and tanned leather accents before finishing it all off with signature smiley face wrapped around the corner of the bag.

Engineered Garments FW19

Engineered Garments return for another drop this season rounding out their deliveries with some of their signature pieces ready to be mixed, matched, and all layered up.

Crafted in New York, each of this season’s pieces pair perfectly together with the Long Sleeve Hoody, Game Vest, and Ground Jacket layered atop each other before the Herringbone Ground Pant, and Floral Carry All are added into the mix.

Houndstooth, Gunclub Check, and Florals all layered atop each other work together as the NB Jacket, and matching Andover Pant are put together with the Game Vest and 19th Century BD Shirt to finish it all off.

For an extra added bit of warmth and coziness, Engineered Garments deliver some Fair Isle Jog Pants and Pullover Hoodies to round out the delivery.

Flimby’s finest have arrived with their latest duo of 991’s and 1500’s.

Both pairs come wrapped in a series of premium black leathers, suedes and nubucks adding olive accents into the mix for the M1500NAG and tan accents for its M991KT counterpart. Not forgetting subtle hits of 3M reflective a signature finishing move for all of their silhouettes. Matching out the premium materials, each pair is crafted at the hands of Flimby’s New Balance artisans in England giving each pair a perfect hand-made finish.

Mr. Mannequin’s got his feet up and enjoying some sunshine this week. Ready to tackle the nice change in weather all kitted out with our latest from Engineered Garments, Adsum, Free & Easy, orSlow, Ahlem, and Vans.

Kicking it all off this week, and Mr. Mannequin’s opted for for a light layering of Adsum’s Core Tee in White with Engineered Garments’ Work Shirt atop. Heavy sunshine accessories this week, keeping well protected from the sun with Ahlem’s Champ De Mars Sunglasses, and Free & Easy’s Corduroy Hat. Not forgetting his carry tucked neatly into Engineered Garments’ Floral Shoulder Pouch.

Heading down to the lower half of this weeks’ outfit and he’s slipped into our Up There Special orSlow Fatigues before lacing up a fresh white pair of Vans’ Sid.

The three stripes just keep on giving this week, with another pair of Ozweego’s. This time around the adiPrene cushioned silhouette takes on a Pale Nude/Light Brown, or Trace Cargo/Night Cargo colour ways. Both colour ways come wrapped in premium nubuck, and suede with subtle leather accents in the same tonal finish. Reebok Classics Instapump Fury Icons Pack

The Instapump Fury ‘Icons Pack’ pays homage to some of the greatest silhouettes and players that once joined the ranks with Reebok brandished signature silhouettes and player colourways.

The first instalment totals up to four, only one holding a tennis connection tied back to the Court Victory with deep green overlays and striking neon yellow accents. For some more basketball-centric colourways, the following pairs focus on the Shaq Attack and Omni Lite, with a near perfect translations, sporting hits of deep aqua blues, replicating both texture and shade in a form even Shaq himself would be nostalgic for. The next opts for dark orange accents atop a black base much like Dee Brown’s kit of choice. Finally we round out the quartet with patriotic reds, whites, and blues show up in similar subtlety to the 1992-originated runner.

adidas Originals improve on a beloved classic with a Gore-Tex Infinium infused Stan Smith.

Taking it back to basics, the memorable court silhouette returns in its most traditional footwear white and green colourway. Whilst it may look traditional on the outside, it’s tumbled leather upper conceals Gore-Tex’s Infinium materials, for a thermal warmth. Subtle Gore-Tex branding is debased into the silhouettes heels before a less subtle brand mark sits on the inner-soles.

Pairs will release through our online store at midnight tonight (12am) Saturday the 5th of October.

Nike Air Jordan 9 Retro Gym Red

Michael Jordan never took the court in a pair of Air Jordan 9’s as a member of the Chicago Bulls, but the Air Jordan 9 is a classic piece of Jordan Brand history nonetheless.

Now, the shoe that debuted during his first retirement is set to release in a ‘Gym Red’ colourway. The Gym Red 9’s utilise a crispy white leather base, before adding a healthy accent of red patent leather on the uppers overlays. Black accents take place on the eyestays, tongue, and heel tab, before branded detailing is provided in the form of a white 23 rubberised Jordan globe logo on the heel, and a text-equipped tongue tag. Down below, a high-gloss red midsole and white outsole with black Jumpman logos finishes it all off!

Pairs will hit our shelves this coming Saturday, releasing through our online store from 12am midnight on the 5th of October.

Kicking it all off this week, Sammy's layered up in Engineered Garments' Floral 19th Century BD Shirt, and the cozy comforts of Nanamica's Fleece Jacket in Black. Keeping the floral going, all of his carry is tucked neatly into Engineered garments' Carry All Tote in Rainforest Jacquard.
