For those that have been rockin' with us for some time you would be familiar with our intentional curation and selection of international brands to house. Within that arsenal we have retaW—a Tokyo based fragrance label founded in 2009 that dedicate their work to creating unique fragrance blends to complement one's sacred space.

As long term friends of the brand, UP THERE and retaW come together to create a bespoke fragrance. For this initiative we decided to draw inspiration from the rich botanicals of Australia—the scents that fill the air, surrounding and nurturing us within our day-to-day lives. This project is named McKILLOP*, the street name of our first store. It's a story of home and that warm feeling of nostalgia—the theme of our collaborations this year. We seem to have gone mushy in our 15 years and take great pleasure in looking back and admiring our journey and what made us. 

This collaboration plays host to a limited-edition Candle and Car Tag. The Candle comes in an UP THERE green package with its holder in silver, representing the signature colour of the store and metallic accents of our fit out while the Car Tag has the same blue and black stripes of our couch in store.

As mentioned the notes for this collaboration are based off scents of native Australia. With top notes of eucalyptus, olibanum and finger lime, followed by pepperberry, Australian cedar and vetiver and lastly with Amber, musk, labdanum and leather at the base.

The Candle and Car Tag are available to purchase at 10am on the 4th of December, in-store and online.
