Kapital started in the heart of Japan's denim industry and expanded outward into something that no longer fits any category. Indigo remains the constant, but the range now covers everything from bandanas to full outerwear, most of it hand-finished in ways that make each piece slightly different from the next.
Kountry is the sub-line where this goes furthest. Existing garments are cut apart, patched, over-dyed, distressed and rebuilt, so no two pieces are identical.
Kapital is the strictest retailer relationship outside Japan and one of the largest apparel brands in the Up There assortment. Stock moves quickly and is not restocked.
