The Sonora is Gramicci’s take on contemporary windbreaker jackets, striking a delicate balance between heritage looks and modern tech motifs without going too far in either direction.
Its high-density cotton/nylon blend is reminiscent of old-world windbreaker material that still offers effective wind and water resistance. The cut is also classic in its anorak-esque wide relaxed fit.
Features elsewhere are decidedly more up-to-date. Toggles galore on the hood and hem are non-negotiable inclusions, as is the ventilation on the rear shoulder and front midriff – nobody likes overheating. The vertically zipped chest pocket – sometimes referred to as a Napoleon pocket – is bordered in reflective for quick sighting of essential storage.
