With a relaxed wide leg cut and half-elastic waist, the Margaret Howell Relaxed Trouser strikes the perfect combination of slouchiness and tailoring.
This delicate balance is a hallmark of the British label founded some 50 years ago. A waistband with half elastic at the back allows for a perfect fit without the worry of landing between belt holes, two alternate pocket closures on the back add both visual interest and differing levels of secure carrying.
The lightweight Japanese wool/cotton plainweave cloth is light with a soft hand. It has a slightly crisp structure with a pleasantly matte finish.
