After plenty of anticipation, visvim has finally landed at UP THERE. It's a brand we've been excited to bring into the mix for some time, and we're starting with a considered selection of footwear and accessories, with more of the collection to follow.
The Fabro-Folk takes the classic leather shoe and gives it the full visvim treatment, with almost every part of the construction considered from the ground up. Italian vegetable-tanned horsehide forms the upper, which is hand-sewn and built around a Goodyear welt construction.
Underneath, a natural cork insole sits above a leather welt and midsole, finished with a Vibram outsole that can be replaced when the time comes. It's an unusually involved construction for a shoe of this kind, and exactly the sort of detail that makes visvim what it is.
