Kapital has arrived, delivering their signature blend of workwear, and traditional Japanese garments, with subtle quirky twists that we’ve come to expect from the label.

This season Kapital give us their offering of Keel Vests with both Sandy Florals, and Woven Indigo Boro Patchwork options keeping you snug and warm. Both fully pieces come fully reversible giving you double your options.

The traditional Sashiko stitch takes pride of place amidst this season’s Fleecy Knit Tee, and Linen Work Shirt. With off-white stitching accenting against the rich natural indigo finishes. Continuing with traditional techniques, Big Pocket Sweat Shirt utilises Shibori dying methods for spherical white accents that run the length of the sleeves.

Kapital truely have perfected patchwork with this season’s Tugihagi Hand Knit Cardigan. Each panel is meticulously hand woven together blending cotton and hemp fibres with torn cloth, and silk threads in a knit boro style.

This season’s offerings for you lower half come in the form of High Waisted Chinos, in both Black and Khaki as well as Waffle Quilted Cargo Pants for a little bit of coziness. Not forgetting all of this season’s accessories, Kapital give us a series of scarves and neck warmers all blending patchwork, and indigo to pair off with all of this season’s garments.

Not forgetting your feet, Kapital have a little smiley face, and some cowichan patterned socks. Last and certainly not least, Kapital’s Milk Bag returns with a Khaki Canvas body and tanned leather accents before finishing it all off with signature smiley face wrapped around the corner of the bag.

All of the latest selections from Kapital are now available in store at our 15 McKillop Street location as well as online. For a closer look at all the finer details of collection, head on over after the jump.
