The ASICS GEL-TRANSCEND FJ takes cues from the brand's hiking and walking shoes of the 1990s, bringing those rugged references into a chunky SportStyle silhouette. Details from the TRANSCEND, GEL-ODYSSEY and GEL-RADIUS series come through in the upper, with rugged leather panels, perforations, accent stitching and dimensional ASICS Stripes giving it plenty to look at.
Underfoot, the midsole borrows the tooling system from the GEL-FujiTrabuco 7, carrying over its jagged design language while adding durability and grip for everyday wear. It's a shoe that sits somewhere between ASICS' outdoor archive and its SportStyle line, with plenty of trail-inspired detail without losing the shape of a lifestyle sneaker.
