VANDYTHEPINK and ASICS are back at the ice cream counter, this time bringing their flavour-driven approach to the GEL-Kayano 12.1. The familiar early-2000s runner becomes the base for a mix of details inspired by the ice cream parlours of VANDYTHEPINK world, with the GEL-Kayano’s technical construction giving the whole thing a very ASICS foundation.
The upper combines mesh with metallic overlays, working in colourful accents that reference your favourite flavours. The same idea continues underfoot, where the midsole is divided into colourful sections, while an ice cream cone graphic appears on the insole. VANDYTHEPINK branding sits at the heel, with alternate laces and special packaging rounding out the collaboration.
