Vans' OTW line gives the Authentic a chukka boot makeover, borrowing the shape and lacing of a style that traces back to British polo players in India. The name even comes from "chukker", the term for a period of polo play.
The premium suede upper has a padded collar, a leather heel strip and flat cotton laces, with a spare pair of round cotton laces in the box. A Sola Foam ADC (All-Day Comfort) insole handles cushioning, and Vans' custom Vibram vulcanised outsole has a tank tread pattern for grip on wet and dry surfaces.
