Junya Watanabe MAN teams up with New Manual to rework one of denim’s most recognisable forms. Built around New Manual’s vintage-minded approach to denim, this jacket takes a Type II-inspired shape and pulls it apart with contrasting textile panels, giving the silhouette an entirely unique character.
The drop shoulders create a broad, boxy shape with a slightly cropped length, while tweedy patchwork is worked through the body for a tactile finish. A vintage wash and scattered paint-splatter details add to the worn-in character, with leather patching and mix of textures brings the whole thing together.
