JJJJound reunite with New Balance on the 990v3, returning to a model the Montreal-based studio first worked on in 2018. The collaboration puts the focus on the shoe's layered construction, with suede overlays and webbed mesh panels giving the upper a mix of textures.
The 990v3 retains its original running-focused construction, with ENCAP cushioning through the midsole and a durable rubber outsole. Made in the USA, the shoe features reflective detailing and JJJJound branding, bringing the studio's perspective to one of New Balance's established performance models.
