We’re heading out of town, hitting the trails and grabbing some fresh air with our friends Nike ACG Community Australia for their next community hike.

We’ve teamed up for the community hike to give away a Nike ACG prize pack which will be raffled off at the end of the hike.

We’re gonna keep it more local, only 1hr drive from the Melbourne CBD, a 17.2km trail with little elevation but lots of adventure. There’s a 5km section of off trail navigation where we’ll be zigzagging Pyrites creek, this section is a whole lotta fun and something the average hiker won’t experience often. It’s not super challenging, so if it’s your first time, fear not, you got this. And don’t worry, we’ll look after the navigating.

If you’re planning to join us, here are a few things to keep in mind when packing for the day:

1. It’s June in Melbourne so it’ll be cold, but that just means more layers of ACG! Keep an eye on the weather and wear versatile and functional outdoor apparel (ACG) + a comfy all conditions capable pair of hiking/trail/running shoes! With the creek crossings be prepared to get your feet wet, even with GTX, and if you’ve got AO’s then we’d suggest wearing them.

2. A lightweight day bag for essentials like water/lunch/snacks/camera/toilet paper

3. Spread the word and bring a friend! It’s an ACG Community hike after all!

4. Some Nike ACG apparel is a requirement, and the more ACG the merrier!
