With our latest cut and sew silhouettes, we wanted to create a compilation of our favourite details, fits and design to create our favourite core items.

First up was some pants, and of course, they needed two legs, introducing the Two Legged Pant, haha, joking, joking. Along with the two legs, these pants are made in a relaxed but tailored fit using a midweight, American cotton twill. They have been finished with cinches at the waist, a zip fly, button-down back pockets and pleated knees for increased comfort. 

A staple in everyone's closet should be the chore coat, a menswear classic that hasn't changed much since its inception in France in the 19th Century. Our rendition stays true to the simple but useful nature of the original designs, featuring four patch pockets on the front for whatever you need to keep safe. With a button-down front in a modern fit, we have used a lightweight cotton canvas, making it the perfect overshirt throughout the year!

One of the most copied military-style jackets has to be the Battle Dress Uniform, better known as the BDU. When designing our version, we wanted to stay true to most of the original details, such as four large cargo pockets with button-down flap closure and a covered button-down placket. We did feel that there was a need for a more modern cut so we gave ours a tailored fit through the body and sleeves and also shortened the body a touch, making it super versatile as an overshirt, layering piece or even literally by itself, who are we to judge?
