Sports agent powerhouse Rich Paul has come together with New Balance for a collaborative capsule collection revolving around his very own 550.
Long known as one of LeBron James’ inner circle of childhood friends, Paul was part of an exclusive crew referred to as the Four Horsemen that included himself, the basketball superstar, Maverick Carter, and Rich Mims. Each have gone on to establish their own ventures, with Paul the closest to the game with his founding of the fast-growing KLUTCH Sports agency, which since its establishment in 2012 has racked up an All-NBA roster of clients.
The celebrate the hard work and achievements of Rich Paul, New Balance has worked with the mogul-in-the-making for a unique basketball-centric capsule that features the beloved New Balance 550. Featuring a cream white upper, navy blue accents, and hits of yellow and baby blue, this 550 is further set apart with ample use of perforations at the tone, tongue, and ankle.
“Growing up, we always had an affinity for fashion but had very limited resources to express ourselves, and few examples of what success could look like off the court,” said Paul. “When New Balance approached me about a collaboration, more than anything, I wanted to create something to inspire and empower young people coming up behind us – for boys and girls with creativity, passion and fearless determination to stay true to themselves.”
