Rick Owens’ DRKSHDW line takes the designer’s visual language into a street-focused space. Launched in 2008, it’s known for elongated proportions, monochromatic styling and exaggerated takes on wardrobe staples, with footwear becoming a major part of the line’s identity.
The Vintage Sneaks are an under-ankle style made from a mix of 13oz overdyed denim and suede leather. They have eight eyelets with laces, contrast stitching and a slightly smaller leather graphic appliqué on the side, finished with Rick Owens’ signature shark tooth sole. The denim has a soft, washed feel, giving the sneakers a nicely worn-in look straight out of the box.
