The Garett Leight Chaparral Sun takes a softer approach to the revered cat-eye, with a narrow, upswept rectangular shape and external temple plaques that nod to vintage eyewear. There’s a nice balance between the slightly lifted frame and the more restrained proportions, keeping the silhouette sharp without going full cat-eye.
Hand-finished in Japan from cured cellulose acetate with Garrett Leight’s signature core wire, the frame is fitted with optical-quality CR39 lenses and dual-plated five-barrel hinges with real rivets. The lenses provide 100% UV protection, and it comes with a GLCO case and cleaning cloth.
