Rockland Blucher by UP THERE - Waxed Camel Nero

A special edition of Viberg's Rockland Blucher shoe made exclusively for UP THERE.

Our relationship with Viberg spans over a decade—the Canadian bootmakers continue to make some of the world's finest handmade footwear with time-proven construction methods refined over decades. To celebrate our partnership, we created two unique versions of their Rockland Blucher.

Italian tannery Maryam provides us with a special deep black waxed camel leather used for the uppers, providing a pebbled grain with supple hand feel. Each hide exhibits unique patina formed through the animal's life—giving credence to the natural origin of the material. The collar is left raw cut rather than traditionally finished, giving a more utilitarian look to the shoe especially combined with the toe shape.

The shoe is built on Viberg's 110 last—a rarity amongst the range which was pulled from the archive for this release. The 110's larger toebox allows more space for your toes, creating an extremely comfortable pair of shoes when combined with the lightweight Vibram EVAflex outsole. We used Viberg's standard split storm welt allowing for lifetime servicability when combined with the Vibram outsole.
