Royce Hill began in Brooklyn in 2021, when designer Justin Hulme started making clothes for himself, pulling apart workwear and military garments to rethink their patterns and construction. That approach continues to shape the label, with an interest in fabrication, practical details and pieces designed to be worn for years.
The Broad Shirt lives up to its name, cut roomy through the body with dropped shoulders and sleeves that hang easy. Linen gives the cotton a flecked, textured surface and a drier hand than a straight cotton shirt, while the cotton keeps it soft against the skin.
