Model 66 1966's Standard Denim - One Wash

This here is orSlow's take on the Levi's 501 model 66—a style which saw the classic rivets on the back replaced with bartacks. Although this style was only available for five years between '66 and '71, this helped to bring jeans into the world of fashion and away from its workwear association.
orSlow's Model 66 uses a 14oz denim which has a different feel to the classic 105 style, with a rougher hand which will age beautifully.
This pair is treated to a One Wash finish, which as the name suggests gives tehse a single wash after being made. Compared with an unwashed rigid pair, the denim is softer to the touch. Most people choose to pre-wash their raw denim because it tends to aid in the fading process but there's some nutcases out there who refuse it and wear them raw. In reality all it does is remove any resins from the denim and a little indigo, preparing them for a lifetime of wear and fading.
