Although Mikia makes many styles of jewellery, it's their beaded designs which they are best known for. Each piece is strung by hand in Japan using only the finest vintage and new beads in stone, glass and sterling silver. Through the use of natural stone and hand-made glass beads, each Mikia necklace and bracelet is unique unto itself.
This bracelet is made from medium sized 6mm stone beads in Chrysocolla, accented by Sterling Silver beads. The hardware is cast from 925 Sterling Silver, with a Puka Shell to wrap the nylon cordage around for secure wearing.

Howlite: Howlite gemstone is a borate mineral. In its natural state, howlite is primarily white or grey, usually with darker veining in either grey, black, or a deep brown. Pure white howlite does occur, however it is quite rare.
