Junya Watanabe is back to their old tricks with Levi's, this time reworking an American icon—the Type III denim jacket.
At a glance it looks like a pretty standard wash jacket until you get close enough to see that it's all digitally printed. Essentially it's a jacket printed onto a jacket. The vintage reference comes from BerBerJin—a heralded Japanese vintage store which sourced an oh-so-perfectly distressed Type III to be printed atop the cotton base.
Featuring a typical button down fastening and front flap pockets (that are real, not printed) it's all executed with a typically Junya twist.
