OTTO 958 – the 'fun project' of mainstay Asics collaborator, Kiko Kostadinov and Al Moran is a place to explore ideas otherwise left on hard drives and notebooks. This extends to Kostadinov's ongoing partnership with ASICS—defined by specific design language and ethos.
Advanced technologies are teamed with modern performance influences to create a design that looks and feels like the future. Key details from the GEL-100™ running franchise were used to construct the midfoot, eyestay, and logo applications. Meanwhile, the midsole unit and toe design draw inspiration from the GELBURST ™ and GEL-HOOP ™ 6 basketball shoes.
Inspired by ASICS performance running collection, this shoe also features FF BLAST™ cushioning—retooling the foam’s functionality by tuning it with everyday scenarios in mind.
