New York natives Adsum set their sights on the Club C for their latest sweet toothed collaboration with Reebok Classics.

After setting sail with the Pyro silhouette more than a year ago, Adsum is finally prepared to ground themselves in yet another collaboration with Reebok, the Brooklyn-based imprint now setting its sights on the iconic Club C Revenge Plus. 

Though seemingly doused in mud, their latest offering evokes a more chocolatey affair. The upper’s palette is swapped from the core classic Triple White that we’ve come to know and love with a more widespread arrangement of deep and dark chocolate browns. Adsum draw inspiration from the gum soles of the 70s and 80s as their pair’s sole unit arrives outfitted with a subtle semi-translucent rubber in the same chocolate brown to keep with the monotonal vibes. Each pair is finished with branded debossing, custom perforations, and extra cork insoles.

“Inspiration comes from classic dark brown/dark gum shoes from the ’70s and ’80s. There were some specific shoes we referenced while designing. You’ll see there’s design continuity from our first shoe with Reebok (Pyro). We used the same suede spec from the Pyro heel counter on the Revenge Plus eyelet, check and heel tab. The nubuck outer softens the appearance of shoe and increases wearability for us.”

The latest Adsum X Reebok Club C is now open for registration on Up There Launches, with the draw closing on Friday the 25th of September at 8AM AEST.

Sizes US8 through to US13 (including some half sizes) will be available for $200AUD.
