Nike turn trash into treasure as they continue to implement their blend of sustainable practice and radical deign with the ‘Space Hippie’ program.

Coming to us in a knit mix of Lemon Venom, Black, and Light Arctic Pink, this latest Space Hippie 04 comes crafted from Flyknit yarn that utilises 85–90% recycled content, including plastic bottles, t-shirts and post-industrial scraps. Heading down to the crafter Foam sole unit which is comprised of 12% Nike Grind rubber combined with foam materials for a more sustainable, lightweight and responsive feel during city exploration.

Not only is it about the shoes, but the box too as Nike ditch the double layered box to deliver Space Hippie shoes in a single layer shoebox made from re-purposed material and printed on with plant-based ink. A complete combination that will gradually help Nike’s journey as they move towards a zero carbon zero waste future.

The Space Hippie 04 will release through our online store at midnight tonight 12am AEST Thursday the 20th of August.

Sizes US7 through to US13 (including some half sizes) will be available for $200AUD.
