Bandulu and their hand stitched creations have made their way to Converse’s Chuck Taylor and Pro Leather for their latest collaborative efforts.

This collaboration sits at the intersection of art and sport: Bandulu’s street luxury aesthetic meets Converse’s classic basketball heritage. On the Chuck 70 Hi and Pro Leather, Bandulu embellishes the premium canvas’ and suedes with their signature embroidered paint splatters a distinct style developed in art school to cover up stains and upcycle vintage clothing. While the drops appear accidental, their composition and colour are meticulously designed and finished with handsewn silk. Bandulu means “fake” in Jamaican Patois, but the elevated artistry is for real.

The collection includes a Chuck 70, and Pro Leather as well as Hoodies, Basketball Shorts and Tees all tying in Bandulu’s signature embroidered coloured drips.

The collection will release through our online store this coming Thursday the 11th of February from 12am AEDT.
