The second collaborator is Detroit sneaker boutique Two 18, the sister store to famed retailer Burn Rubber – proving that greatness comes from the community that surrounds them. This fresh take on the Air Jordan 2 Low is unquestionably born out of hometown pride, bridging worlds to showcase fashion as a way of life and a universal language.
Crafted from richly textured suedes with crisp leather accents, this collaborative Jordan 2 is full of artisanal detailing from branding to hardware to stitching, while plastic eyelets add a tortoiseshell touch. Look inside to discover a map of Detroit's metro area printed on the insole.
The iced outsole has a sombre inspiration – the water crisis in Flint, Michigan. The brown-to-clear gradient represents the ongoing efforts to clean the water of Flint, with Two 18 calling out the gradual improvements as the water moves from dirty to clean.
