Description
Released in 2013, the Salomon XT-6 was designed as a soft ground trail shoe for athletes competing in ultra-distance races. The foam midsole with full-length Agile Chassis System (ACS) gives superior cushioning & support over extended distances. Breathable mesh uppers are made more durable with a welded TPU film to help resist abrasive damage.
This version wears three additional letters in its name – a simple 'GTX' which makes all the difference. Those three little letters signify the use of GORE-TEX® technology in this shoe. For decades GORE® products have stood for reliable, dependable performance – their "guaranteed to keep you dry" motto is backed by extensive research for any product which wears the GORE-TEX® label. Beneath the hexagonal rip-stop nylon and TPU uppers lay the famed waterproof membrane which will keep your feet dry no matter what you throw at it. These might just be the ultimate rainy day sneaker.
