The Mafate X is the latest generation of HOKA’s off-road performance runners made for the long haul.
Built with lots of padding, lots of grip and lots of protection, the combination of dual-density PEBA and super critical EVA foam provides the cushioning. There’s also a forked carbon plate in the forefoot for a bit of pop on the trail. Vibram comes in clutch with strategically placed Megagrip tread on the outsole for surefootedness. Up top, a reinforced toe bumper and molded TPU heel counter protect both ends of the foot, while the woven upper drains quickly and saves weight.
