A very Story mfg. piece, hand-knit, natural-dyed, covered in whimsical imagery and delightfully relaxed.
Each cardigan is knit by hand (!) from yarn dyed with Karuvelam Pattai, whilst the crocheted artwork obtains colour from Iron, Kaduka, Natural Indigo, Palapattai, Pomegranate and Sevilokodi dyes.
KARUVELAM PATTAI: The Babul tree is a fascinating subject in the field of food and medicine, with its extracts being used as 'gum arabic'. Throughout history, the tree has been utilised for various purposes, such as the roots, seeds, leaves, and twigs. In fact, the fibrous nature of the twigs has even made them suitable as disposable toothbrushes.
