Shadow 6000 - Blue/White

Decades since its 1989 debut, the Saucony Shadow 6000 continues to surprise us with the amount of comfort it delivers. Sometimes it makes you wonder what has actually happened with footwear in the year since, but then you remember shoes have carbon springs in them now...

This pair's finished in a particularly fetching hue not dissimilar to the precious Ultramarine blue of ancient times — made from lapis lazuli. Between the 13th-15th century the colour was so highly prized it was worth more than it's weight in gold, thanks mostly to the complex and laborious process needed to create pigment from the stone.
