Birkenstock 1774 presents the Becomes Berlin collection — a refined footwear capsule that captures the spirit of 1920s Berlin, a city pulsing with architectural innovation, political transformation, and creative revolution. Drawing on Art Deco aesthetics, the collection fuses historical references with modern design sensibilities. Influences from period furniture design and vintage colour palettes subtly inform the silhouettes, materials, and tones.
The Boston EXQ's are constructed from a pony-like hair that's soft and brings an added element to a faithful silhouette. It's a slip-on design with an adjustable metal buckle fastening exclusively designed for the 1774 range. It features the brands signature anatomically shaped cork-latex footbed, covered with tonal nappa leather and an EVA sole.
