A Lite Year take on a menswear staple.
Traditionally seen in warmer climates, the technique for making seersucker cloth originates from arab nations. The word originates from the Persian words shîr (شیر) and shakar (شکر) – meaning "milk and sugar", from the gritty texture ("sugar") on the smooth ("milk") cloth. You can see this effect with the uneven look and feel of the fabric.
Compared with a classic seersucker, Lite Year have used a version with an oversized stripe that adds a much more casual look to the fabric.
