Desert Khan x Engineered Garments - Sand Suede

Mens Size: (Select)

Total:

$350.00 AUD $175.00 AUD

Originally released in 1949, the Clark's Desert Boot was designed by Nathan Clark—great grandchild of Clark's founder James. He was inspired by the military footwear worn by British soldiers in the Sahara Desert which were made in Cairo's Khan el-Khalili bazaar. For the Engineered Garments collaboration Daiki Suzuki chose the Desert Khan, a low-cut variant of the classic desert style named after the Egyptian bazaar where the original boots were made.

EG's signature asymmetrical lace system features D-rings on the left and blind eyelets on the right of each shoe. The addition of a removable kiltie adds an extra level of detail and heritage design in a way that EG has mastered over the years. In what may be the shoe's most controversial change, the signature crepe sole has been removed and replaced with a Vibram® Christy EVA outsole. By losing the latex, the shoe's drop weight and gain versatility thanks to the all-weather performance of the outsole.
