Japanese label A.PRESSE hasn’t been around for that long but they’ve already made a splash with distinct fabrics and exacting cuts. The Washed Silk Nep Polo Shirt is an exemplar of both.
Its body is made from thickly twisted silk yarn—sourced from domesticated silkworms—and to replicate an uneven slubby and neppy texture created by handspun techniques. The long sleeve polo cut masters ratios, contrasting the shorter collar against a slightly deeper button placket that features mother-of-pearl buttons. Set-in sleeves also add subtle tailored structure along the top block.
