L is for Lego: adidas Originals celebrate everyone’s favourite interlocking blocks with their latest instalment of the A-ZX with the Lego ZX 8000.

Though you’re unlikely to suffer injury as a result of scattered pieces, the LEGO blocks do appear on the silhouette itself as they accent both the heel counter and eye stays with the signature studs and all. The use of blue and red also seems to be a reference in and of itself, both pairing well with the equally bold green and yellow for the most signature and nostalgic set. Elsewhere, adidas delivers their expertise through ribbed white mesh and grey suede panels, a construction that lies neutral in contrast to the aforementioned and the loud ‘LEGO’ branding that dresses the tongue.

The Lego ZX 8000 is now open for registration on Up There Launches, with the draw closing on Friday the 25th of September at 8AM AEST.

Sizes US7 through to US13 (including some half sizes) will be available for $190AUD.
