ISPA MINDBODY - Barely Volt/Plum Fog-Volt-Coconut Milk

Nike's ISPA collection (Improvise, Scavenge, Protect, Adapt) continues to pump out some of the most wild looking product whilst pushing a thought-provoking narrative. The ethos is manifested as a pinnacle experimental expression of Nike design across all categories, including the latest innovations and established creations. The resulting product shows the power of design, addressing the needs of the city dweller.

The ISPA Mindbody gets the somewhat unappealing nickname of 'Trash' thanks to the mottled, thrown-together aesthetics it pulls off so well. The uppers are based around a Flyknit textile with the majority of the shoe – from upper to sole – being secured with stitching rather than glue. This allows the ISPA Mindbody to use less chemicals in production but also means it can be deconstructed for recycling much more efficiently.
