Released in 2013, the Salomon XT-6 was designed as a soft ground trail shoe for athletes competing in ultra-distance races. The foam midsole with full-length Agile Chassis System (ACS) gives superior cushioning & support over extended distances. Breathable mesh uppers are made more durable with a welded TPU film to help resist abrasive damage.
This version wears three additional letters in its name – a simple 'GTX' which makes all the difference. Those three little letters signify the use of GORE-TEX® technology in this shoe. For decades GORE® products have stood for reliable, dependable performance – their "guaranteed to keep you dry" motto is backed by extensive research for any product which wears the GORE-TEX® label.
