Description
Dutch sneaker royalty Patta link with New Balance for another stellar collaboration. Where they worked with the USA factory for the 990v3, this time the crew have hit the Cumbrian countryside to team-up with Sam Pearce and the UK design team.
Taking the newly-unveiled 991v2, Patta apply their decades-long sneaker expertise to make a shoe which embraces the 'made in UK' quality whilst injecting a dose of street flamboyance. The uppers employ a unique multi-layered mesh, overlaid with premium nubuck with touches of leather and synthetic textile.
Contrasting the high-end fabrication and classic silhouette is the inclusion of fluorescent yellow accents and reflective panels—a clear homage to the '90s sports footwear which dominated the music scene which has always loomed large in Patta's inspirations.
