Arguably the most famous of the precious stones, turquoise is best known as the bright blueish-green colour which reminds many of the skies of Arizona—a region where the precious stone has been found and cherished for millenia by the native people on the land. The reality however is that turquoise can be found in many hues of reddish browns all the way through green and the coveted blue.

For this piece, Mikia has arranged the natural colours of turquoise in a mottled combination, with larger more blue stones concentrated near the centre for a charming artistic element.
