Guam - Active Maroon/Tech Silver Metallic-Better Scarlet
The Three Stripes have been on a roll lately thanks to the resurgence of terrace-style footwear. From Sambas to City Series, the kids can't get enough of these classic slim silhouettes that have normally been reserved for middle-aged English men reliving their youth. Next up on the blocks is the Guam.
Released in the early '80s, Guam was a re-badging of the adidas Milano. This practice was common for adidas when creating shoes for specific markets. Most often seen in Japan, the Guam seems to have been a model aimed at one of adidas' most dedicated markets.
Although the red make-up might seem like a modern fashion remake it's most definitely a re-issue of an original colourway. It's not just recent times that people have been rocking loud coloured sneakers.
