As the name suggest, the design language of this shirt is relatively basic. that being said, such a simple name does undersell the fit and finish of something to come out of Margaret Howell's workshop. The main point of attention is the cotton silk cloth which the shirt is constructed from – a smooth and soft hand feel makes every time you slip this on an event in-itself. The classic curved hem, combined with a patch pocket and regular collar make no attempts to hide the utilitarian roots of this shirt, instead they celebrate it.

Each shirt is constructed by hand in the Margaret Howell workship, meaning that these shirts are as close to being a pure Margaret Howell product as possible.
