Pachena Bay - Marrone Washed Kangaroo
The Pachena Bay Boot from Viberg features a single-piece upper design with the recognizable padded collar often seen in Italian rock-climbing footwear from the 1970s. Further enhanced for colder environments, it also sports a gusseted tongue and Thinsulate lining for optimal insulation.
The uppers are constructed in a kangaroo leather from the Maryam Toscanello tannery. Kangaroo leather exhibits the highest levels of durability, in addition to providing a supple and comfortable texture. The washing process creates an intentionally variegated grain pattern in the leather which makes for a unique finish when combined with the natural abrasions and marks in the wild animal hide.
Viberg shoes are made for a lifetime of wear, so a sole which can be repaired, removed and replaced is paramount to ensure that daily wear doesn't cut that experience short. A lightweight Vibram® Evaflex sole unit provides EVA cushioning and increased grip thanks to the grooved outsole.
