Quilted Storm Cardigan - Red
So much of the Storm Cardigan represents what 4SDesigns does well. Indeed, in many ways it feels like a perfect encapsulation of everything that drives founder Angelo Urrutia.
The way it incorporates blazing red quilted fabric with a chunky zip and flag details leaves it feeling more like an oddball piece from The North Face's expedition archives. Those flags represent countries important to Angelo: including El Salvador (where he was born), Italy (where the collection is made) and the USA, where he grew up and lives.
A Storm Blazer is an oxymoron of sorts, a chimera fusing two seemingly opposed worlds together. In that sense it's one of the most New York garments you could ever imagine.
