XT-QUEST '75th Anniversary' - Golden Oak/Acorn

Salomon® celebrates it's 75th anniversary with a trio of special release sneakers that pay homage to the Adventure 7 hiking boot released in 1992. The original featured heavy duty canvas with durable suede overlays, which is echoed across all of the styles. The colours are drawn directly from the Adventure 7, with a classic outdoors colourway combination of forest green, golden oak and acorn brown.

The XT-QUEST is a chimera of sorts, merging two classic Salomon® styles of quite different breeds. The uppers are formed from the original XT-Wings, the first of the brand's iconic trail running shoes. The 4D Chassis sole unit is taken from the XT boot, a workhorse that has reliably transported hikers to all corners of the world. In a way you can think of them as the 'mullet' in the range, with the uppers bringing the party up top whilst the durable outsoles are all business down below.
