Classic Leather x LQQK - Wild Brown

Reebok has teamed up with Brooklyn-based print studio LQQK Studios to work their magic on the Classic Leather. This iconic style must be a daunting prospect for any collaborator given the simple perfection of the original. Nevertheless the LQQK gang did their best to imbue a unique sense of character to their pair.

The uppers are constructed with cotton canvas (should they be called Classic Canvas now?) which has been printed with a bespoke pattern inspired by leaf-print camouflage. The rest of the shoe follows the earthy colour tones set out by the pattern with wild brown accents dotted around at key points.

Custom branding calls out the collaboration, with the signature woven Reebok tag replaced with a moulded rubber LQQK label complete with American flag. The collaboration is rounded out with an extra-long tongue tag extending the entirety of the lace panel, creating a racing stripe which surely adds 10 horsepower.
