Wide Leg Jean - Patina Green
Conceived and founded by artist Daniel Arsham, Objects IV Life draws on an artistic philosophy refined over decades to generate essential uniforms for a creative life. These relaxed wide-legged jeans draw from 1940s-era silhouettes that would have served the labourers of the time.
Constructed from patinated deadstock Japanese denim, a mix of green hues creates contemporary character at-odds with the jean's workwear origins. Details come from angled front pockets which merge into the waist band, an asymmetrical "speech bubble" reinforcement patch and custom hardware. The latter is created with recycled and raw metals, allowing for easier recycling at the end of the garment's life.
Hand-stamped branding is placed on the back belt loop and below the discrete ticket pocket on the right leg, situated under the back pocket.
