Moleskin Shirt Jacket - Alkanna Grey
Conceived and founded by artist Daniel Arsham, Objects IV Life draws on an artistic philosophy refined over decades to generate essential uniforms for a creative life. As Australians, the "shirt jacket" something we're plenty familiar with. Is it a bit chilly? Do you have to go out for dinner with the in-laws? Forgot how to eat again? Chuck a shirt over the top, you're sweet. For this object, the overshirt is reimagined as a hyper-functional garment through key improvements.
A body of dense, hard-wearing cotton moleskin is lightly padded with recycled polyester padding – for a touch of insulation and added visual weight. The arms are lined with ECOVERO, an accredited viscose material comprised of recycled viscose and virgin viscose from sustainably farmed and controlled wood sources. The back yoke features ventilation holes with a mesh under-layer, a feature commonly seen on fly fishing shirts.
Multiple pockets add utility, with slash hip pockets for your hands; a patch pocket and a zippered compartment in the Objects. signature "speech bubble" shape.
