Denim Jacket - Patina Green
Conceived and founded by artist Daniel Arsham, Objects IV Life draws on an artistic philosophy refined over decades to generate essential uniforms for a creative life. For this jacket Arsham offers up a contemporary take on the classic American denim jacket pioneered by brands like Levi's and Wrangler. Taking this timeless base, the construction is reworked with deadstock Japanese denim and thoughtful details.
A patchwork of denim panels mix shades of patinated green, with strategic asymmetric "speech bubble" shaped reinforcements around the cuffs and side seam. Large cargo pockets feature signature Objects. dungaree clip closure in place of a standard button.
The buttoned placket is more traditional, save for the fact the buttons are made in a way that makes them easily removable during the end-of-life breakdown after the jacket has served its purpose. The metal hardware is cast from recycled and raw state materials, further increasing the recyclability of each garment – a core tenet of the Objects IV Life mission.
