Carsten Stripe LS - Dark Navy
The Carsten shirt is a pretty simple piece, the main design features is the open collar design, often referred to as a camp collar which brings a laid-back feeling. Where this particular shirt shines is in the fabric department.
The cotton poplin is accented with an irregular stripe pattern achieved through a fil-coupé technique. Fil coupé means "cut threads" in English and it is a type of jacquard weaving technique which involves an extra step of cutting the weft thread on the back of the fabric. Often this part is hidden discretely on the back of the fabric, but Norse flipped it and embraced the texture as a design feature.
